First and foremost we are out to have fun.  At the same time we need to be safe while on the water.  We will be fishing from an Action Craft 2020 Flatsmaster, a relatively shallow drafting flats boat that still provides a smooth and dry ride.  With a 200 Optimax out back it will get up and go when we need to move.  For morning charters we will typically meet at the ramp before the sun comes up.  Please do not be late.  For evening charters the times will vary depending on the year but we will usually meet around 7:00 pm at the ramp.  Ramp locations will change with the weather and tides but they are all within 30 minutes drive of each other.  Unless you have a restraint on which area we fish I will always choose the area that will produce the most fish on that given day.

Here is a short list of things to do, bring, and not do or bring:

I will provide the following-

-All fishing gear, lures, bait, etc. (you are welcome to bring your own gear if you prefer)

-A small cooler for you to bring your drinks and snacks.  Beer is allowed but please be responsible.  I will end the trip early without refund if you cannot control yourself.  Please do not bring hard liquor.  This isn't a booze cruise.

-Life jackets if you wish to wear one (kids under 12 are required to wear a life jacket at all times while on my boat)

-You do not need a fishing license while fishing with me

You should bring the following-

-Hat, sunglasses, and sunblock

-Plenty of water and any snacks you might want

-Most times we will be on smooth water so dramamine may not be necessary, but use your judgement here.

-Non marking shoes/sandals or you can go barefoot if you prefer

Catch and release only - Please be aware that I ONLY do catch and release charters.

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.
